MISSION NEWS

The Military Personnel Project is providing a warm and most welcome contact with our men and women serving overseas. On the sign-up table in the hall is a list of appropriate items that can be included in the mailing to these service men and women each month.

In addition, we have learned that letter/notes are also appreciated. You may write a letter to be included in the boxes sent on the second Monday of each month. Just drop your letter into the blue collection box in the narthex with all the other goodies. We are sure someone will enjoy hearing some news from the home front.

School Room Project has found a few dedicated builders. As of Easter Sunday, $1,417 has been donated toward the goal of $3,500 and 28 blocks have been added to our wall in the narthex. Block by Block, $1.00 by $1.00 we will build a school room in Africa.
