Joan Giltinan, Clerk of Session New Members Received – Robert and Darlene Fischer of Sebastian were received into Active Membership by Reaffirmation of Faith and were presented to the Congregation during worship on Sunday, 2/24/08.

Easter Egg Hunt -  The Christian Education Team will hold an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages preschool through 6th grade on Easter Sunday, during the 10:00 a.m. service, following the Children’s Message.

Membership Statistics – .  As of 2/19/08, we have 219 Active Members, 10 Affiliate Members, and 20 Inactive Members, noting deaths of Virginia Baker (3/16/06) and Alex Bozza (1/23/08) and transfer of membership of Jim and Elaine Short to Eastminster Pres. in Indialantic.

January Worship Attendance - Average attendance for January was 167.

Feet for Food Walk – The Ecumenical Council has decided to hold a “Feet for Food” fund-raising walk on Sunday, March 9th at 2:00 p.m.  This replaces the usual Church World Service Crop Walk, and ALL funds raised will go directly to the EC Food Pantry in Roseland to meet needs in our community.
This change will allow all monies collected to be used for food without any administration costs.

Island Upgrade – An Ad Hoc Committee, headed by Jinny Earnshaw, has been appointed to oversee re-landscaping of the island in front of the Sanctuary.  A wider walkway and new handrails are planned.

Holy Week and Easter Services -    A Maundy Thursday service will be held on Thursday, March 20th at 7:00 p.m.  On Good Friday, the church sanctuary will be open from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. for meditation.  Two services are planned for Easter Sunday, 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Stated Meetings – The next Stated Meeting of the Session will be held Tuesday, March 18th, in the Gathering Room.  The April Stated Meeting date has been changed to April 22nd .
