International Sunday School series, Sunday 8:30am      

Location: Library. Beginning at 8:30 this class especially lends itself to Choir Members who need to be free to rehearse at 9:30 each Sunday morning.

This class uses The Present Word, published quarterly by the PC(USA) - our Leader's Guide is based on the International Sunday School Lessons.

Currently studying: "God's call to the Christian Community", studies from the Book of Luke. Units include God's call at Christmas and Beyond; the Awareness of God's instruction; God summons us to respond!

"From Members to Disciples: Leadership lessons from the book of Acts" by Michael W. Foss. This dynamic stuudy is designed to get participants out of the pew and into the world for Christ!

Presbyterian Women's Circles Bible Study

        Location: Each circle meets at its own time and location. Check with a circle member, or  the church office

        Currently studying: "In the Beginning: Perspectives on Genesis"

In the initial chapter, 'Perspectives on Creation,' Genesis is described as "a patchwork quilt. ... The pieces arose at different times, from different locations, and in different circumstances."  We looked at 'The Grand Design' and  what it means to us that we are "created in the image of God."

Subsequent topics are:

Sibling Rivalry -- Cain and Abel
Promise -- Abraham and Sarah
the Outsider -- Hagar
Sacrifice -- Abraham
